Choose And Cut Christmas Trees

The Trees

The Choose and Cut Experience

At Lantern Farm we grow only the highest quality trees.  We specialize in Fraser Fir Christmas Trees, but we believe in variety and offer a wide selection of Christmas Trees for those who want something a little different.   We offer twelve varieties of Christmas Trees in addition to specialty cuts like European and Victorian for those who prefer a more natural look.

Fragrant Christmas Trees

Fraser Fir

The Fraser Fir may be the perfect Christmas Tree.  We love this tree because it is beautiful, it has an amazing fragrance, it has excellent needle retention, and it supports heavy ornaments with its sturdy branches.  Interior designers love this tree because of it's thinner shape and coloring.

Noble Fir

The Noble Fir is the glory of the west coast.  We are excited to introduce this tree to you on the east coast because it is a beautiful and great smelling tree.  It has excellent needle retention and is great for heavier ornaments.

White Fir

The White Fir is also known as the Concolor Fir.  We like this tree because of it's unique scent.  When it arrives to your home you will notice the scent of oranges.  If you like citrus this is the tree for you.  This is also a great tree for those with allergies.

Canaan Fir

The Canaan Fir has has many similarities to the Fraser fir and Balsam fir.  We think this tree is beautiful, and it is certainly unique as it hasn't had the exposure that many of the other firs have enjoyed.

Grand Fir

Balsam Fir

The Grand Fir is another tree that has a citrus scent.  We like this tree because  it has a beautiful thick foliage and a very clean profile.  This is a tree for those who like a dense look.

Balsam Fir

Balsam Fir

The Balsam Fir is the tree  for you if the scent of Christmas is your priority.  We like it because it is the most fragrant of all of the trees on the farm.

Hypoallergenic and Exotic Christmas Trees

Nordmann Fir

The Nordmann Fir has very attractive foliage, softer needles, and excellent needle retention. We love this tree because it gives those with allergies the opportunity to enjoy the tradition of having a live tree in their home because it has little to no fragrance.  It is also the tree for those who want that old fashion look.  Think of "A Christmas Carol" and this is the tree of that era.  It is Europe's most popular Christmas Tree

Korean Fir

The Korean Fir is our lime-scented tree.  We suggest you light this tree from below as it will create a beautiful silver glow because of the needle's silver underside.

Turkish Fir

Corkbark Fir

The Turkish Fir is another tree that is great for those with allergies.  We like this tree because it is perfect for those who want multiple varieties of Christmas Trees in the house without competing scents.

Corkbark Fir

Corkbark Fir

Corkbark Fir

The Corkbark Fir is an extremely unique tree.  We like this tree because it is our fir alternative to the Blue Spruce.  If you want a blue tree with a strong fragrance and without the pointy needles, then this is your tree.

Silver Tip

Corkbark Fir

Blue Spruce

The Silver Tip Fir is also known as the Red Fir.  This tree is extremely unique and beautiful.  We love it because of its blue color and the open shape which is great for showcasing ornaments.  It has excellent needle retention and very stiff branches to hold the heaviest of ornaments.

Blue Spruce

Corkbark Fir

Blue Spruce

The Blue Spruce is our pet deterrent tree.  It is armed with pointy needles, and it will keep your Christmas excited pets at bay.  It is also great for those with allergies.  It has sturdy branches and great needle retention.
